First it is important to understand that illusion has no detail. If we seek detail and find none then it is not reality but an illusion. Reality has detail, a foundation based on truth and the math always works.

The End of Beliefs

The term belief is most often linked to illusion, based on fictions, when a sentence starts "I believe" what often follows is a story or wishful thinking. It is best practice to speak of direct experience, knowing, possibility and probability which leads to lucid thought.

Not that there is anything wrong with a good story for entertainment purposes and make believe.
